A pharmaceutical composition suitable for injection in the form of an aqueous suspension for sustained release of a drug bisphosphonate composition comprising: a sosoloide containing a salt of a bisphosphonate drug; and a salt of pentavalent phosphorus oxyacid having the lower solubility sosoloide saline 0.05% by weight as bisphosphonic acid for use as a medicament.
