Hybrid silencer providing a function of separating gas-liquid in fuel cell system

2012
PURPOSE: A hybrid silencer mounted on a fuel cell system is provided to reduce weight and volume of the fuel cell system by separating gas element and liquid element flowing inside of the fuel cell system, discharging these elements simultaneously and reducing noise of the fluid. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid silencer mounted on a fuel cell system comprises an extension chamber connected to a predetermined device of the fuel cell system to reduce noise of the fluid discharged from the predetermined device, an absorber (200) inside of the extension chamber to absorb liquid element flowed inside the extension chamber, and a porous silencer (300) discharging the fluid in which the liquid element was removed and reducing the noise of the fluid. The extension chamber includes an inlet pipe (101) in which the fluid from the predetermined device is flowed and an outlet pipe (102) discharging the liquid element absorbed into the absorber.
