Unknown free-form surface self-adaptive measuring method based on exploration method and measuring head device

2007
The invention discloses an adaptive measurement method and gauge head device for the unknown free curved face based on the exploration. The contact gauge head is installed between the laser gauge head. The whole device is installed on the Z axis of the three-coordinates measuring machine. It explores by using the signal of two laser gauge head and the contacting gauge head is used to measure; when the contact gauge head moves from the present measuring point to the next measured point, the laser gauge head can grow by 0.5-2mm sampling to explore the unknown path and fitted the treated measuring data to thrice uniform B spline curve; then it disperses the fitted curve to adaptive sampling point according to the curvature and generates the block prevent point correspond to the sampling point; then it commands the contacting measurement according to the sampling point and block-prevent point. So it can reach the adaptive measurement for the unknown free curve. The method has simple arithmetic; the device has simple structure and is easy to reach.
