Near-infrared Fluorescence Imaging Using a Protease-activatable Nanoprobe in Tumor Detection: Comparison with Narrow-band Imaging
2013
Many gastrointestinal tract cancers develop from premalignant lesions such as adenomas. According to a well-known adenoma-carcinoma sequence, most colorectal cancers (CRCs) arise from pre-existing adenomas. Therefore, the early detection and removal of adenomas via endoscopy is important for preventing CRC. However, conventional videoendoscopy is not accurate in detecting adenomas and may miss numerous small, flat lesions. Several advanced endoscopic techniques have emerged to improve visualization Near-infrared Fluorescence Imaging Using a Proteaseactivatable Nanoprobe in Tumor Detection: Comparison with Narrow-band Imaging
