TCSC Based Self Adaptiveness in Particle Swarm Optimization for ATC Enhancement: An Algorithmic Analysis

This paper intends to construct a novel optimization method in power system for solving the chaos associated with the enhancement of ATC. The impact of FACTS devices is worthier and so it is implied here for enriching ATC. Therefore, the serial type of FACTS devices which is Thyristor Controlled Series Capacitor (TCSC) are considered main device. The foremost contribution of this research work goes with the enhancement of ATC by introducing a new Self Adapted Particle Swarm Optimization (SAPSO) algorithm, which is the conceptual improvement of standard Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Finally, an algorithmic analysis is done to validate the performance of the projected algorithm by varying the ranges of accelerating constants c 1 and c 2 , respectively.
