A braking band (2) for a disc brake disc (1) comprising at least two plates (3, 3 ') interconnected by connecting elements (4), wherein the space between the plates forms an internal air duct (7) for cooling the braking band (2), wherein at least one of the plates (3, 3 '') has, on one surface (8, 8 ') defining air ducts (7), at least one slit (10, 10 '') extending substantially along at least a portion of an orbit around the axis of symmetry (s) of the disc (1) and has a cross section which widens towards the air duct (7) for a predominant part of its depth.
