Opening Arm Manipulator Experimental System Based on Virtual Instrument Technology

Experiment teaching is one of the most important parts in cultivation postgraduates majoring in automation.There is little experimental apparatus for modern control and intelligent control.And most of them are based on computer simulation.Students can not access to real control system,and they can only do theory design.BeiHang University first use inverted pendulum,double-tank,single/double pendulum as real objects of experiment teaching.This is a new experimental platform for theory study.Considering several years' teaching effect,real system can stimulate creativity and arouse the enthusiasm of students.Basis of former system,a new arm manipulator system was developed using motion control card and servo motor.The structure was redesigned,and LabVIEW was used for new system.Thus control theories and programming methods can be easily used.
