Survey on English Course Group Activity of Vocational College

Group activity is the most common teaching methodology which embodies cooperative learning in China's ELT classroom. This thesis,which is based on observation,interview and questionnaire,reflects the status quo of group activities in public English classroom at the vocational school. The result shows that group activities are now widely used and the roles of teachers are various but at the same time some problems exist in the classroom teaching such as the criteria of group division is monotonous;individual's responsibility among the group is unclear;too much Chinese used in group work and so on.
