Environmental radioactivity management and evaluation system based on GIS

This paper developed environment radioactivity management and evaluation system based on GIS by using geographic information system technology,component technology,spatial database technology etc.The main functions of the system include: radioactive environmental data management;map visualization;statistics function on the data of environmental radioactivity;and so on frequency distribution diagram drawing,radioactive environmental data contour diagram,map output function ect.Implementation of environment radioactivity data management and evaluation system based on GIS provides a scientific tool for the relevant departments in a radioactive environment quality assessment by the study.
