This patent provides a cashew nut shell liquid modified resorcinol-based resin adhesive and its preparation method. The main steps are: resorcinol melted 120 ~ 130 ℃, first prepared under an acidic catalyst resorcinol - formaldehyde oligomer, followed by addition of cashew nut shell liquid heated to 180 [deg.] C for 1 ~ 150 to 2 hours, and then distilled under reduced pressure to -0.10MPa -0.08MPa vacuo to remove water and free resorcinol portion, and the addition of a base neutralizing agent to obtain cashew nut shell liquid modified resorcinol-based adhesive resin.
