Axial Dispersion in Bubble Columns, Prediction with Consideration of Sparger Arrangement

An equation has been formulated to evaluate the axial dispersion coefficient in the continuous turbulent liquid phase of a two-phase gas-liquid bubble column. The equation is based on simple mechanical considerations without calling on previously correlated data; it also takes sparger arrangement into account.
