See-saw signals at the LHC

2010
In this talk I will review the recently proposed nonsupersymmetric SU(5) grand unified model with an extra fermionic adjoint representation. It predict s a light fermionic weak triplet that contributes via the type III seesaw mechanism to the neutrino masses. One of these masses turn out to be zero, and the others are functions of the same parameters that describe the triplet decays. The search at the LHC for such triplets and their decays could thus lead to a direct determination of the seesaw parameters.
