Combined point laser feeler based unknown free curved face measurement method and feeler device

2008
The invention discloses a method for measuring unknown free curved surface based on multiple point laser probes and a probe device thereof. Three point laser probes are installed on the Z-axis of a three-coordinate measuring machine, and a main laser probe is vertically disposed in the front part; and a left laser probe and a right laser probe are disposed in the rear part in an inclined way with an inclination angle of 120 DEG. The measurement method comprises the following steps of: performing line-by-line scanning with uniform interval to a measured curved surface and processing the scanning data line-by-line by the main laser probe; scattering a section line to curved segments with Theta value larger than or equal to 0 DEG and smaller than 60 DEG, larger than or equal to 60 DEG and smaller than or equal to 120 DEG, and larger than 120 DEG and smaller than or equal to 180 DEG respectively, wherein the Theta value is the angle of the outer normal line of points on the section line and the positive direction of X-axis, and recording the positions thereof; and guiding the left and the right laser probes with the position values, and performing secondary measurement to the curved segments with Theta value larger than or equal to 0 DEG and smaller than 60 DEG and, larger than 120 DEG and smaller than or equal to 180 DEG respectively. The invention realizes complete measurement to the unknown free curved surface through the combination of data form multiple laser probes. The invention can realize complete measurement to the complex free curved surface with inclination angle larger than or equal to 0 DEG and smaller than or equal to 180 DEG by using the combination of point laser probes.
