GERİATRİK BİR HASTADA SAPTANAN REKÜRREN MULTİFOKAL EKSTRAPULMONER TÜBERKÜLOZ THE RECURRENT MULTIFOCAL EXTRAPULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS DIAGNOSED IN A GERIATRIC CASE

Ozet Tuberkuloz ulkemizde yaygin olarak gorulen ve hemen her yas grubunu etkileyen bir enfeksiyon hastaligidir. Ozellikle ileri yas grubunda goruldugunde hastalik sessiz bir klinik tablo olusturmasi nedeniyle tani gecikmelerine neden olabilmekte, yuksek mortalite ve morbidite ile seyretmektedir. Bu calismada mediastinal LAP nedeniyle akciger maligniteleri yonunden arastirilirken aksiller LAP supurasyonu ve daha sonra spondilodiskit gelisen ve antituberkulo tedavi sonrasi nuks ile karsilasilan 78 yasinda bir olgu sunulmustur. Ileri yas grubunda ekstrapulmoner tuberkulozun tani, klinik seyri ve tedavi yanitlari irdelenmistir. Anahtar kelimeler: Ekstrapulmoner tuberkuloz, rekurren tuberkuloz, tuberkuloz spondilodiskit. Abstract Tuberculosis is an infectious disease, seen among all the age groups and common in our country. If it is seen among older age groups, it causes slient clinical signs. For this reason, diagnosis of the disease may be late and the disease may develope high mortality and morbidity rate. In this study, a 78-years old patient with recurrent tuberculosis which developed axillary lymphadenopaty and spondylodiscitis while examining lung malignancy due to mediastinal lymphadenopaty, The diagnosis, clinical findings and treatment results of extrapulmonary tuberculosis were presented in older age groups.
