Perfil de las personas con parálisis cerebral en servicios de vivienda

espanolEl proposito de este estudio es establecer el perfil de las personas con paralisis cerebral atendida en los servicios de vivienda, teniendo en cuenta que estos servicios pretenden favorecer la inclusion a traves de la autonomia y la convivencia con otros. Se realizo una entrevista a 20 personas en una Asociacion de Burgos que utilizan estos servicios. Se recogieron datos relativos a las caracteristicas sociodemograficas, clinicas y de funcionamiento, y sobre las necesidades de apoyo y atencion en los servicios de vivienda. Los datos reflejan un claro predominio de varones (75%), con una edad entre 40 y mas anos (75%), soltero (75%), analfabeto (55%), sin experiencia laboral (85%) y todos pensionistas. El 35% de las personas con paralisis cerebral ademas tienen Discapacidad Intelectual con un grado de discapacidad alto (M= 90%). Funcionalmente predominan personas de Nivel V en Gross Motor Function Classification System, Nivel V en Manual Ability Classification System y Nivel III en Communication Function Classification System. El 75% utilizan estos servicios desde hace mas de 5 anos siendo la razon de la eleccion la enfermedad de un familiar; reciben todos ellos apoyo psicologico, fisioterapia y servicios de ocio. Poder determinar este perfil favorece disenar estrategias y recursos que proporcionen apoyos especializados y de calidad en entornos inclusivos y normalizados. EnglishThe purpose of this study is to set up the profile of the people with cerebral palsy who are attended at the housing services, taking into account that these kinds of services try to assist the inclusion through autonomy and communal living. 20 people, who use these services, were interviewed from an association from Burgos. Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics, performance levels, assistive and attentional necessities at housing services data were collected. These data show that there are more males (75%), more than 40 years old (75%), single (75%), illiterate (55%), without working experience (85%), and all of them are pensioner. 35% of the people with cerebral palsy has also an intellectual disability with a high level of disability (90%). According to the performance, people with level V in the Gross Motor Function Classification System, level IV in the Manual Ability Classification System, and level III in the Communication Function Classification System are the most frequent. 75% of them use the housing services over 5 years, mainly because of a relative disease, and all of them receive psychological support, physiotherapy and leisure time services. Define this profile is important in order to assist strategies and resources which give specialized supports and normal and inclusive environments.
