Colorful light filter and manufacturing method thereof

The invention provides a manufacturing method for a colorful light filter, which comprises the steps of coating a transparent photosensitive material layer on a transparent substrate; forming a transparent matrix protruding from a surface of the transparent substrate on the transparent photosensitive material layer by means of a male die with a concave pattern on the surface, wherein multiple pixel areas spaced from each other by the transparent matrix are divided on the transparent substrate by the transparent matrix; curing the transparent matrix; coating a pigment ink in the multiple pixel areas by means of an ink jet printing method; and then curing the pigment ink to form multiple colorful light filter films. The manufacturing method for the colorful light filter, provided by the invention, has no need of forming a black matrix on the substrate and carrying out multiple exposing and developing operations.
