REFLEXOS HISTÓRICOS: A PAISAGEM ATRAVÉS DO OLHAR ARTÍSTICO DO CAMEROSCÓPIO

The landscapes of Rio de Janeiro have elements not often perceived by those who daily passthrough the city absorbed in their routines. These elements, some of them antique and otherscontemporaneous, some historical and others that will or will not be a relevant part of history,coexist in this eclectic environment that is the Center of Rio. Members of ArteCiencia, a projectwhose purpose is to understand, promote and elaborate works and research that integrate in atransdisciplinary way art and science, revealing their peculiar ways of seeing the landscapethrough an object called cameroscope. An artistic look is obtained from this instrument whichis inspired in a kaleidoscope, an ancient object that obtain images. The cameroscope was madewith accessible and available in the market materials and the images obtained through it, inhistoric places in Rio de Janeiro, were registered with smartphone cameras. This art-scienceproduct intends to reflect on the visual context of the environment by which we pass through,by a different look at everyday life, which in a simple way, can generate multiple possibilitiesof reflection.
