Analysis of the Patch Characteristics of Woodland Landscape in Fuzhou City

By using the current land use map and terrain map of Fuzhou City,spatial analysis and statistics on the terrain distributional pattern of woodland landscape in Fuzhou City are done with the support of GIS software.Based on the analysis method with the indexes of landscape pattern,this paper analyzes the patch characteristics and the degree of landscape fragmentation of woodland landscape types in Fuzhou city from four respects: the general characteristics of landscape pattern,the size characteristics of patch,the fragmentation characteristics of patch and the shape characteristics of patch,and then discusses the causes.
