Progress in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease-related pulmonary rehabilitation and application of cardiopulmonary exercise

For the patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),especially the elderly,decreased exercise tolerance is one of the main symptoms,not only seriously affecting the quality of life of patients,at the same time bring a heavy financial burden on the community of family,with the forward to the deepening of the aging of the population,this issue has become more prominent.Study abroad has proven pulmonary rehabilitation is an effective means tO improve the exercise tolerance of COPD patients,and has a good cost-effectiveness.At the same time,a growing body of research has cardiopulmonary exercise testing as part of their assessment techniques,and is extensively used in day-to-day activities of the clinic.At present,this area of research and application is also relatively small,this article will focus on pulmonary rehabilitation and exercise tolerance of the assessment methods.
