Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO by NH_3 on Fe,Mn-based Catalysts

2012
The industrial V_2O_5/TiO_2 and V_2O_5/WO_3 /TiO_2 catalysts can remove NO_x at 300—400℃and are tolerant to SO_2 poisoning, but these catalysts face some problems such as intrinsic toxicity of vanadium, and low catalytic activity at low temperature.Three methods, with varied compositions of starting materials, were used to explore the hydrothermal synthesis of Fe,Mn-based catalysts. These catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD).The effect of Mn/Fe molar ratio on the catalytic activity in NH_3-SCR of NO was studied, and the H_2O- and SO_2-tolerant behaviors were also studied. The catalyst showed good catalytic activity in the lowtemperature region of 100—150℃.
