Research on the Skin Hardness of Lead Screw-nut Pair under Wear-self-compensation Lubricating Oil

In order to study the rationality of hardness ratio for the lead screw-nut pair of rolling mill grinding device used at present,the tribology characteristic of the steel-copper friction pair and the relations between the steel skin hardness and the surface treatment craft under the N150.SW4 lubrication was studied.The result indicates that,under the N150.SW4 lubrication,when the hardness is in the scope of HV 320～800,the abrasion of the steel-copper friction pair descends with the increase of steel skin hardness.The hardness ratio of the skin hardness of lead screw-nut pair of rolling mill grinding device is unreasonable,it is suggested to enhance the lead screw skin hardness to about HV 800,use the suitable surface treatment craft (for example the FM method or gas nitriding),and enhance the lead screw surface finish.
