Form of participation of users in the educational practices of a family health team as a means of transformation

A participacao do usuario em praticas de educacao em saude deve ser ativa para que o individuo seja valorizado como um sujeito capaz de decidir sobre questoes que envolvem sua saude e que e responsavel pelo seu comportamento e habitos de vida. O objetivo foi identificar, sob o ponto de vista do usuario, qual e a metodologia de aprendizagem utilizada nas praticas educativas e a forma de participacao em uma UBS de Nova Colina. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo desenvolvido como parte do Programa de Educacao para o Trabalho (PET). Foram sujeitos da pesquisa 20 usuarios, convidados a participarem, por meio de visita domiciliar. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas e analisados com base na analise de conteudo proposta por Bardin. Concluiu-se com este estudo que ainda ha o predominio do modelo tradicional de educacao. Os profissionais de saude precisam reconhecer que nenhum saber deve ser mais ou menos valorizado do que o outro e que o educador, na medida em que educa tambem e educado. A acao educativa precisa ser dialogica para ser efetiva e causar impacto, e o educando deve ser respeitado como um ser autonomo, livre, consciente e capaz de tomar decisoes. User participation in health education practices must be active in order for the individual to be valued as a subject capable of deciding matters involving their health and who is responsible for their behavior and lifestyle. The goal was to identify the point of view of the user which the learning methodology used in educational practices and form of participation in a UBS New Hill. This is a qualitative study developed as part of the Program of Education for Work. Research subjects were 20 users were invited to participate through home visits. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using content analysis proposed by Bardin. It was concluded from this study that there is still a predominance of traditional education model. Health professionals need to recognize that knowledge should be no more or less valuable than the other and that the educator in that education is also educated. The educational activity must be dialogue to be effective and have an impact, and the student should be respected as an autonomous being, free, conscious and able to make decisions.
