Design of a new miniature microwave power transmission rectifier

2019
As a radio energy transmission technology, microwave energy transmission is of great significance to the power supply of the wireless sensor of the Internet of things. The rectifier antenna is an important part of microwave energy transmission, which needs to take into account the power and volume received. Rectifier antenna is an important part of microwave energy transmission. The rectification efficiency and the size should be taken into account when designed. Miniaturization design of microwave power supply rectifier antenna is studied in this paper. In this paper, a method of slot coupling antenna using a single radiation patch with harmonic suppression is proposed. The multilayer structure is used to separate the feeder wire from the radiating patch. The multilayer structure is used to separate the antenna and radiating patch, and the integrated design of antenna and rectifier circuit is realized. Lastly simulation analysis and a test analysis were carry out on that rectifier antenna. The results show that: compared with the traditional rectifier antenna, the rectifier antenna designed in this paper has a more compact structure and stronger harmonic suppression ability. The rectification efficiency is more than 40% under low power input conditions. The research results in this paper can effectively reduce the size of the rectifier antenna while ensuring the efficiency of the rectifier antenna, which is of great significance for realizing the miniaturization design of the IoT sensor.
