Evaluación de dos sistemas silvopastoriles mediante indicadores de calidad de suelo. El Vigía, Estado Mérida

2009
The work was based on assessing soil quality indicators soil by two silvopastoral systems in Judibana farm of the University of the Andes, Merida. We conducted a sampling design (stratified - random) defined by: 3 physiographic units, the association of forage grass species, age and a control system. The soil sampling was conducted in two stages, recently grazed and 22 days later along with the vegetation. The soil quality index was evaluated using the software (AEPAT) and statistical analysis with the R-Commander. The Indixes obtained indicate that soil attributes evaluated at two depths, showed no differences between the two periods. The unit ND4, had the best quality index in the control and Leucaena-grass association, NDEP unit with better quality of soil in Gliricidia-grass association and unity DC presented the lowest ratings. Indexes of agroecosystem behavior, showed treatments LPND4-9, LPNDEP-12 and GPNDEP-9 occupy the first three places, moving to the PND4-12 token.
