Research on the algorithm of the improved Fourier in transmission line computer-based protection relay

The fault transient process of voltage and current's transient noise in power transimission line will interfere with the relay.So relay protection need to adopt filtering technology.Fourier algorithm is widely used in practical engineering.The Fourier algorithm can remove the DC component and the entire sub-harmonic components,but it cannot remove the decaying DC component.Therefore,Fourier algorithm is improved.By compared the Fourier algorithm and the improved Fourier algorithm's simulations and performances,and applied to the actual transmission line protection.Further evidence,the improved Fourier algorithm has practical value in engineering practice.
