Dielectric Relaxation of Nanocomposites Based on Poly(phenylene oxide) and Endometallofullerene
2020
The molecular mobility of poly(phenylene oxide) nanocomposites with endometallofullerene at a concentration of 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 wt % is studied by dielectric spectroscopy. Two processes of dipole polarization relaxation in the glassy state (β-process) and in the rubbery state (α-process) are found. It is shown that the molecular mobility of the β-process related to the presence of a nanoadditive does not change with concentration. Molecular mobility in the region of the α-process, which is associated with segmental mobility, shows a downward trend.
