Control-State Performance Analysis of Cascade Brushless Doubly-Fed Generators

The parameter characteristics of the cascade brushless doubly-fed machine were firstly analyzed,based on a simplified and a non-simplified equivalent circuit respectively.The computer simulation program was edited by Matlab software on the basis of the conditions for generator operation.The controls of constant voltage/frequency ratio were derived in this paper.Simulation results below or above synchronous operation as a generator connected to the grid were consistent to the theoretical analysis.It has established stability theoretical foundation for the future study of the VSCF wind power technology using cascaded brushless doubly-fed generators.
