Method and apparatus for recovering deleted file in ext file system

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for recovering a deleted file in an ext file system. The method comprises: acquiring a target partition where the deleted file is positioned; by an index node inode of which an identification is 2 in the target partition, searching a target index node inode corresponding to the deleted file; acquiring a target data block identification of a data block occupied by the deleted file from the target inode; according to the target data block identification, reading data of the target data block; and storing the data of the target data block and recovering the deleted file. According to the method of recovering the deleted file in the ext file system, which is provided by the present invention, the inode identification corresponding to the deleted file can be rapidly searched by utilizing the index node inode of which the identification is 2 in the target partition, so that the file deleted by mistake is rapidly recovered, a user is helped to reduce data loss, system stability is improved and user experience is promoted.
