A STUDY ON ETIOLOGICAL FACTORS OF NEONATAL THROMBOCYTOPENIA IN A TERTIARY CARE HOSPITAL

Introduction: - Thrombocytopenia (platelet count 72hrs).  Conclusion : - Significant association is observed with Maternal PIH, NEC, LBW, Sepsis and prematurity. Factors   leading to Sepsis directly influence platelet counts.
