케빈 린치의 도시이미지 요소를 통한 프라운의 공간 특성 연구

A series of Proun painting by El Lissitzky in the early 20th century was the experiment on the relationship among time, space and viewers with the new concept of visual perception. Until now, perception and cognition theory has been one of several perspectives describing the process of spatial recognition through the human-environment interaction. Kevin Lynch introduced the concept of mental map and images in the recognition of surroundings and urban spaces. Through these mental representations, he was able to isolate distinct physical elements of the actual city. This study aims to analyze Proun painting through Lynch's 5 elements of a city and investigate spatial features in Proun.
