Economic Dispatching Method Based on Dynamic Network Loss Factor

Under the transmission and distribution price mechanism, power grid company should pay more attention to network loss management. The traditional economic dispatching based on DC-power flow model ignores the network loss, which leads to the power generation schedule from the traditional economic dispatch can‘t meet the operation requirement of reducing transmission network loss. To solve this problem, the quantitative relation between network loss and node power is derived based on the formula of transmission line loss. Then an economic dispatch method based on AC/DC iteration is proposed, which contains an economic dispatch model of embedded dynamic network loss factor to realize the dynamic tracking of transmission network loss. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified based on a case study on an IEEE-30 buses system.
