Double-sided bump velvet and production method thereof

The invention relates to a double-sided bump velvet and a production method thereof, belonging to the field of weaving technology, in particular to a double-sided bump velvet and a production method thereof. The provided velvet is featured by rich layers, strong stereoscopic effect and good touch; and the production method of the velvet has the advantages of simple process and raw material saving. The double-sided bump velvet is characterized structurally in that the piles of warps are respectively arranged on two side surfaces of a base fabric adjacent to or departing from each other. The production method comprises the following steps of: arranging wefts on two outmost sides of the upper and lower layers of a velvet cyclic organization; interweaving the warps with bottom wefts in the full velvet cyclic organization and also interweaving the velvet warps with the wefts on the lower layer bypassing the wefts on the upper layer or interweaving the velvet warps with the wefts on the upper layer bypassing the wefts on the lower layer; and then generating the double-sided bump velvet by velvet cutting and weft pulling.
