Marine Inspection and Investigation School: Providing world-class marine casualty investigating officer training

The Marine Inspection and Investigation School (TMII) is located at Training Center Yorktown, Virginia. It provides marine investigation and inspection training in seven areas, to over 650 marine personnel each year. The backgrounds of the training staff include training in judicial affairs, civil investigations, criminal investigations, course curriculum development, human performance technology, and techniques of instruction.
