Tourism sector in Morocco: State of the art and development perspectives

espanolEste estudio presenta un analisis estrategico del sector turistico marroqui. Se presento una revision de la literatura sobre el desarrollo del sector turistico en Marruecos. Esta revision de la literatura presenta de forma analitica los diferentes factores de competitividad del sector turistico marroqui. Se ha proporcionado una metodologia cualitativa basada en entrevistas con expertos. Se realizaron entrevistas con expertos del sector con el fin de conocer el estado del arte del sector y conocer los factores que obstaculizan su desarrollo. Los resultados muestran una gestion participativa del sector patentada por el ministerio y la representacion de los profesionales, pero tambien una inmensa necesidad de transparencia, organizacion del poder y dinamizacion de las estructuras para incidir positivamente en el desempeno del sector turistico. . El articulo senala tambien algunos factores que podrian ser estrategicos para el desarrollo del sector turistico dentro de Marruecos. EnglishThis study presents a strategic analysis of the Moroccan tourism sector. A literature review on the development of the tourism sector in Morocco was presented. This literature review presents in an analytical way the different factors of competitiveness of the Moroccan tourist sector. A qualitative methodology has been provided based on interviews with experts. Interviews were conducted with sector experts in order to understand the state of the art of the sector and to meet the point on the factors which hinder its development. The results show participatory management of the sector patented by the ministry and the representation of professionals, but also an immense need for transparency, organization of power and revitalization of structures in order to have a positive impact on the performance of the tourism sector. . The article points also some factors that could be strategic for the development of tourism secctor inside Morocco.
