The present invention relates to a frame for etching the copper alloy strip material having a low internal residual stress, which is made of an alloy of the following composition, Ni2.2-4.2%; Si0.25-1.2%; Mg0.05-0.30%; Fe0 .01-0.2%; Mn0.002-0.01%; Zn0.005-0.015%, the remainder being Cu. The alloy composition is cast uniformly mixed, cooled after quenching the hot rolled ingot, hot rolling start temperature of 850-1000 deg.] C, the final temperature of 700-800 deg.] C, the cooling rate after rolling the strip at 10-30 ℃ / s of quenching; then after third annealing, straightening and low-temperature heat treatment to give the product. The present invention, by selecting a suitable alloy composition ratio, by controlling the hot rolling, quenching temperature, aging of heat treatment, straightening and low-temperature heat treatment process, to reduce the internal residual stress of the strip.
