Effectiveness of reducing lead levels on feather shells with various types of filtrates

Tanjung Balai has the productive waters and abundant of seafoods e.g., shell, crab, squid, and kind of fish. Antique ark (Anadara antiquata) is a filter feeder animal, i.e., animal that can filter every food around it, so it can accumulate microorganism e.g., bactery, virus, and strange materials e.g., metal that can be absorbded and harmed its body. This research aims to know the reduction of lead (Pb) using the pineapple filtrate (Ananas comosus), bilimbi filtrate (Averrhoa bilimbi), and tamarind solution (Tamarindus indica). This is a true experiment research with posttest only control group design. This research used two factors i.e., variation of 50% and 75% concentration, and soaked variation for 15 minutes. According to the statistic test result with repeated measures anova shown that the reduction of lead (Pb) rate in antique ark after it soaked in the pineapple filtrate, bilimbi filtrate, and tamarind solution.
