The subject matter of the invention is a method for de-icing composite material structures, particularly blades of a wind turbine made from composite materials, comprising the following steps: disposing at least one layer of a formulation of conductive polymer on at least one portion of the surface of the structure, providing an appropriate electrical power supply for the structure, and connecting the layer of a formulation of conductive polymer to the electrical power supply in such a way as to cause said conductive layer of conductive polymer to heat up, controlling the electrical power supply depending on climatic conditions. The invention also covers the required composition and suitable device. A specific application is the blades of wind turbines.
