Megaloblastic anaemia in Uganda

Abstract 45 patients with primary megaloblastic anaemia—forming 2% of anaemic in-patients in Kampala—are reviewed. The diversity of aetiological factors and importance of haemorrhage due to thrombocytopenia are stressed.
