espanolObjetivo: el proposito del presente estudio es determinar relaciones entre la competitividad, la ansiedad social con las horas de entrenamiento semanales y la nota media escolar. Material y metodos: se trata de un estudio no experimental, con una estrategia asociativa que persigue explorar la relacion funcional existente entre variables (estudio comparativo). La muestra total del estudio estuvo compuesta por jugadores de futbol masculino de entre 9-15 anos. Se elaboro un cuestionario de autoinforme ad hoc y se utilizo la Escala de Competitividad-10 y la Escala de Ansiedad Social para Adolescentes. Conclusiones: Se discute sobre las relaciones de las variables de estudio y se senalan las principales conclusiones: los jugadores con mejores notas medias escolares poseen menor ansiedad y evitacion social ante extranos; a mas tiempo dedicado en horas por semana al futbol menor es la motivacion orientada a evitar el fracaso y mayor es la competitividad. EnglishObjective: The purpose of this study is to determine relationships between competitiveness, social anxiety, motivational orientation, commitment and fun in football players (juvenile, children and teenagers) and average grade school. Methodology: It´s a non-experimental study, with an associative strategy which aims to explore the functional relationship between variables (comparative study). The total study sample it was composed of male soccer players between 9-15 years old. A questionnaire ad hoc was developed and was used Scale Competitiveness-10 and the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents. Conclusions: It is discussed on the relations of these variables and are indicated some conclusions of the study: players with best middle school notes have less anxiety and social avoid to strangers; more hours training soccer per week is related with great competitiveness and lower motivation to avoid failure.
