INVESTIGATION ON THE AIDS RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND APPLICATION OF HEALTH EDUCATION ON AIDS PREVENTION

[Objective] To investigate the vocational nursing students master the knowledge of AIDS,and discuss the application of health education on AIDS prevention value.[Methods] The vocational nursing students were randomly selected to understand the knowledge of AIDS awareness.On the basis of investigation,we developed the AIDS health education to per-form effect evaluation.[Results] Students of AIDS related knowledge was better than that before the education(P﹤0.05).The knowledge of AIDS education among students was better than before health education(P﹤0.05).In the face of AIDS,and the rate of taking ‘with the same treatment as ordinary people’,‘as usual’ attitude was significant difference before and after health education(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion] The health education can increase knowledge of AIDS of nursing students to im-prove the attitude of AIDS,but the short of health education for nursing students are not able to grasp the depth of knowledge of AIDS,so the long-term sustained benefit for AIDS health education could make student clear understand AIDS,so that to pro-vide high quality care for AIDS patients.
