COVID-19 mortality rates in a district general respiratory support unit

Increasing age, number of comorbidities and CFS were associated with treatment failure as well as time between presentation and admission to RSU. Careful patient selection with consideration of these factors is vital when identifying patients appropriate for respiratory support.
