The utility model discloses a traction converter device and module. After passing through an input circuit, an input alternating current is converted into a direct current through a rectifying circuit, passes through a secondary filter circuit and is converted into a three-phase alternating current through an inverter circuit to provide a driving power supply for traction motors. An auxiliary inverter obtains electricity from a middle direct current loop and converts the electricity into a three-phase alternating current, and then a three-phase voltage is output to supply electricity to an auxiliary load through an auxiliary transformer. One end of a boost chopping unit is connected with an external storage battery, and the other end of the boost chopping unit is connected to the middle direct current loop. A sensor detection unit detects signals of the traction converter device, wherein the signals include an input current, a middle voltage, an output voltage and an output current. A control device is used for achieving logic control in the traction converter device. Under the premise of the same power, the traction converter device and module can sufficiently meet the requirement for a high integration level, a small size, low noise and easy maintenance for the traction converter device of a vehicle.
