Modeling ofMagnetic Anisotropy ofSrRuO3 ThinFilms UsingTensors

Spintronic devices andmagnetic tunneling devices havebeenamajor topic ofresearch inrecent years. One ofthemostpromising heterostructures areSrRuO3/SrTiO3 heterostructures. Anisotropy induced magnetic properties of SrRuO3 becomecomplicated inSrRuO3/SrTiO3 heterostructure because ofdistorted interfacial symmetry coming from orthorhombic nature ofSrRuO3 andcubic SrTiO3. Although themagnetic anisotropy isknowntoberelated withsurface morphology andmicrostructures, their roles aswellastheanisotropy axis itself arestill controversial issue. We present modeling ofthemagnetic anisotropy behavior fortwodifferent growth modesbytheuseoftensors.
