A new conceptual magnetic refrigerator and its performance prediction.

A new conceptual magnetic refrigerator (MR) is presented. The MR cannot be simply classified into passive regenerative MR or active regenerative MR. In fact, it is a mutation of Brown MR prototype, but it solves the problem of regenerative fluid mixture in the later. A primitive numerical performance computation for the new conceptual MR is also carried out and presented in the paper. The calculated results demonstrate that the new conceptual MR is promising in practical application.
