Comparative study on evaluation mode of practical nurses in CCU

Objective:To explore the assessment methods and the satisfaction of the selected method of practical nurse in CCU.Methods:Practical nurses in CCU of our hospital from September 2009 to March 2012 were randomly divided into two groups.In the first three weeks,practical nurses receive weekly weekend open-book examination(experimental group 25 cases) and close-book examination(control group 25 cases).At the forth weekend,all the student receive close-book examination,the questions of the two group were the same,after the examination,they fill an satisfaction questionnaire about the examination type.Results:The average score of the forth examination of the experimental group was(90.23±5.25),the score of the control group was(85.00±7.34),the two groups compared had statistical significance.The results of questionnaire indicated that the practical nurses were more satisfied with open-book examination than close-book examination.Conclusions:During the practical period,the satisfaction of open-close examination is higher than close-book examination,and this examination type improve the mean score of the final examination,this assessment methods is worthy of promotion in the nurse practice assessment.
