The method comprises the following steps of: configuring switching strategies for a first base station and a second base station; executing switch type control by the first base station according to the switching strategy and acquired type information of the second base station; providing the type information of the first base station for the second base station by the first base station; and executing the switch type control by the second base station according to the switching strategy and the type information of the first base station. Through the method and the system, a network can control the switching type supported by the household base station in a household base station system-based mobile terminal switching flow.
