These tubes aresingle-stage image- converters designed on the base of theUMI -93 SR's time analyzing stage. Special attention ispaid to the problem of the dynamic measurements. Usingpicosecond laser produced plasma the minimum X -ray pulseduration of 12 ps is measured.1. IntroductionX -ray sensitive Image Conver-ter Tubes (XR ICC's) have been use-ful lately for laser produced plas-ma stadies /1 -5/. But quantitativemeasurements with the help of suchITC's are very difficult becausethey imply the highly accurate kno-wiege of such characteristics asspectral sensitivity, temporal andspatial resolution, quantum effici-ency etc. In this paper some chara-cteristics of the new type of XRITC's are given. Special attentionis paid to the problem of the dyna-mic measurements.
