The Application of Swirl Burner and Direct Burner in "W" Type Boiler

As more and more anthracite coal firing in W type boiler,the key point——burner is become very important.Design theory of swirl burner and direct burner is introduced.And the paper analyzed the reasons for the trouble-shooting of combustion unstable in high load,combustion supporting air hard to be added,carbon in fly ash high in using swirl burner,flame switching and flame pulsation in using direct burner.It is found that two types of burners should be improvement.It can provide reference in choosing burner type in retrofit and new build "W" type boiler
