The method comprises steps of testing whether the data transmission is successful and correct according to obtained transmission identifiers and reception identifiers, start-up data transmission size and finished transmission data size, testing user perception time and backstage data transmission time according to the obtained data transmission time and data reception time, the start-up transmission time and finished transmission time. This invention solves the problems that the manual test adopted by the prior art for testing the data transmission is low in success rate, accuracy and efficiency and that the manual test is limited by the operation times and operation time, so that the user perception time and the backstage transmission time cannot be accurately tested. The method for testing data transmission improves the testing efficiency and reduces the working intensity of the tester.
