Sensitive Detection of Liquid Nitrogen Temperature Fluctuation Induced by Bubbling Using HTS Microwave Absorption

2000
Large fluctuating signals of microwave absorption in high temperature superconductors (HTS) induced by liquid nitrogen bubbling, were observed for the first time. This fluctuation reflects temperature fluctuations of the liquid nitrogen. A complicated process of the liquid nitrogen from small bubbling up to evaporation was elucidated by means of the microwave absorption. This is a new bolometric function of HTS.
